Måløy is a town in the municipality of Kinn in Vestland county, Norway. Måløy is located on the southeastern side of the island of Vågsøy, about 3 kilometres northeast of the village of Holvika and about 6 kilometres south of the village of Raudeberg.

The 34-kilometre-long road between Honningsvag and North Cape is particularly beautiful, being the only real polar landscape in the whole of Europe.

The Norwegian city of Tromso is the gateway to the Arctic and starting point for expeditions to the North Pole. Situated on a small islet, connected to the coast by bridge, its main commercial activities revolve around the food and fishing industry, focused on the sea and nearby Lake Prestvant. The city’s distinctive features include traditional timber warehouses and wooden houses. As a university town and a centre of the whaling industry,Tromso has enjoyed considerable prosperity with a thriving social and cultural life. The university is world renowned for its Geology and Natural Science faculties.

Trondheim is a famous Medieval university city situated on Norway’s largest fjord. It has many great monuments and it is Norway’s most popular city in terms of culture and architecture.

We visit Ålesund to discover the wonderful grandeur of the fjords and then enjoy the Art Nouveau style of the city.
It’s hard travel to Ålesund without succumbing to the unique charm of this city. The administrative centre of the same name is also the Norwegian epicentre of Art Nouveau. Once landed at the port of Ålesund, you can start your tour at the fjords, mysterious sea inlets surrounded by sheer cliffs. If you get the chance, look out for the picturesque midnight sun. And don’t forget to sample the Pinnekjøtt watered with brandy!

The Norwegian village of Vik stands on a huge bay between the sea and the mountains of Sognefjord, and is believed by many to be where the Viking civilisation originated. Similarly to the nearby village of Flam, it is located at one of the most beautiful spots on the spectacular Sognefjord, ‘the fjord of all fjords’. A number of sites in the area, including ancient Borgund Hopperstand, Undredal Kaupanger and Umes, have been declared monuments of great historical interest by Unesco. The area features a number of fascinating museums and the local population defend their heritage with enthusiasm. As well as beautifully preserved ancient churches the area also exhibits evidence of former pagan worship. Arriving at Vik by sea is a magnificent experience, offering incredible views of the dramatic landscape. Breath-taking views can also be enjoyed via a short railway journey that climbs 900 metres into the mountains, a marvellous feat of engineering.
